AUTUMN IMMERSION

The Threshold

Physiology, Psychology & The Archetype of Transformation

Three days in the Swiss Alps — where science and ancient wisdom converge on a single question: how does a human being genuinely change?

You already know what it is to stand at a threshold — in your own life, and in the lives of the people you guide.

The Immersion

A Bindu immersion doesn't survey a topic. It enters it.

Through physiology, psychology, mythology, philosophy, and embodied practice — a single question is studied until it becomes a living map. One you carry out of the Alps and into the work you do with others.

Credit eligible toward the Master's in Holistic Health Sciences.

Step Into The Threshold

This immersion is for you if you:

  • Feel that something in you is ready to shift — but haven't yet found the structure to move through it
  • Work with people in transition and want deeper, more embodied tools for holding that space
  • Are drawn to the intersection of science and depth — where physiology meets meaning
  • Want to understand your own threshold so you can guide others across theirs with greater clarity
  • Are seeking an experience that integrates body, mind, and symbol — not just one of them

Why the Threshold?

In every wisdom tradition, transformation has a threshold — a moment when the old form dissolves and the new has not yet taken shape. Psychologists call it the liminal state. Physiologists know it as the moment a system is most open to re-patterning.

In the modern world, we tend to push through it as fast as possible — and emerge on the other side wondering why nothing feels different. The Threshold invites a different relationship.

Why Kali?

Every threshold has a guardian. In the wisdom traditions of the East, the one who governs the crossing is Kali — not a force of destruction, but the intelligence that clears what is complete so that what is emerging can take form. She is often misread: Kali is not chaos, she is precision. She removes only what is finished — the identity, the pattern, the season that has run its course — the exact movement the body and psyche undergo at every threshold.

When you understand the physiology of change, you stop fighting transformation and begin navigating it. When you understand the psychology of the liminal space, you can hold yourself — and others — there with skill and presence. When archetypal wisdom meets that science, something deeper becomes available: not just survival of the crossing, but genuine passage.

That is what this immersion teaches.

The Location

Chalet Ganesha: A Sanctuary Built for Transformation

Set on ancestral land in the Swiss Alps, Chalet Ganesha is more than a retreat center — it is a constellation of chalets, each restored or constructed with reverence for sacred geometry, lineage, and living energy.

Originally built in the 1800s and lovingly reimagined over two decades, the chalets — including Ganesha, Amachi, and Grand Ganesh — have been crafted in partnership with visionary wood engineer Thomas Buchi, blending traditional alpine architecture with modern comfort.

Grand Ganesh, the purpose-built shala, was designed using the golden ratio and royal cubit — the same proportions found in cathedrals and temples — enhancing the land’s naturally powerful telluric energy lines.

The result is a space of rare harmony: aesthetic, elemental, and deeply alive. With sweeping views of Les Dents du Midi and Les Dents Blanches, spacious practice rooms, wood-fired saunas, and farm-to-table meals inspired by Japanese and Ayurvedic traditions, Chalet Ganesha invites you into a field of deep restoration and evolutionary clarity.
